We are always looking for talented and motivated researchers at all levels to join our team!

Postdocs with experience in experimental quantum science are encouraged to reach out to discuss research opportunities. Please send your CV and motivation to Alp Sipahigil. Eligible candidates are encouraged to consider the postdoc fellowships listed here.

Graduate students: Prospective students are encouraged to apply to EECS, Physics, or AS&T PhD programs. Please mention your interest in our group in your application. We recruit students every year!

Berkeley undergraduate students interested in quantum hardware research can fill out this research interest form. We have limited spots (~1-2/year) to mentor student projects. Example topics: (i) superconducting, nanomechanical, and nanophotonic quantum device design or (ii) design and construction of microwave and photonic measurement hardware and software.
Background in linear circuits (e.g. EE105), electromagnetics (EE117, Physics 110A/B), and quantum mechanics (Physics 137A/B) is preferred but not required. Students interested in superconducting qubit research are encouraged to study course materials here.
